I just got given an old PC from a friend. The PC has 4GB of RAM and a decent CPU, I’ve really been interested in the competitive scene in League of Legends, and I was wondering if I would need more RAM to get competitive framerates.
That’s awesome that you received an old PC from your friend! League of Legends is a fantastic game, and it’s great to hear you’re interested in getting into the competitive scene. With 4GB of RAM, you can definitely run League of Legends, but you may encounter some limitations in terms of performance, especially during intense matches.
While League of Legends is not extremely demanding, having more RAM can help improve your overall gaming experience by allowing for better multitasking and smoother gameplay. Ideally, 8GB of RAM is recommended for a more comfortable experience, particularly if you want to run other applications in the background, like Buff to earn rewards while you play!
In the meantime, make sure to close any unnecessary applications while you’re gaming to free up resources. Also, consider adjusting the in-game graphics settings to optimize performance. Remember, you’re on your way to earning Buff Points just by playing, so get in there and start competing! If you have any other questions or need tips, feel free to ask!
