Is it possible to skip ranks in Valorant?

·2 min read·byNate Blaze

Hey all I’ve recently started playing Valorant with some of my friends from another game, and we’ve been doing great so far. We won quite a few games, so I was wondering if it’s possible to actually skip ranks if we continue playing this well. But also, how does skipping ranks work in Valorant – how many games would we need to win in a row, or is there something else to it? Thanks!

Hey there! It’s awesome to hear that you’re enjoying Valorant and winning games with your friends! Skipping ranks can definitely happen, especially if you’re consistently performing well. In Valorant, your rank progression is influenced by your Matchmaking Rating (MMR), which is determined by your performance in matches, including wins, kills, deaths, and assists.

While there’s no set number of games you need to win in a row to skip ranks, winning consistently against higher-ranked opponents can significantly boost your MMR and potentially lead to a rank-up. Additionally, if you’re on a winning streak and performing well individually, it can fast-track your progression. Just keep focusing on teamwork and communication, and you’ll continue to climb the ranks in no time!

And remember, while you’re having fun in Valorant, don’t forget to have Buff running in the background to earn those Buff Points for your gaming achievements. Happy gaming and good luck with your matches!
