Valorant Agent 28: Dawn of the Duelist teasers, reveal date, what we know so far

Riot Games has begun to drop hints about Valorant’s upcoming Agent 28, with a significant reveal anticipated in March. Here’s what we currently know.

When Valorant launched in 2020, players had a selection of just 10 agents to engage in combat on the futuristic battleground of Earth. Since then, the roster has expanded dramatically, now featuring 27 unique agents.

The most recent addition to this lineup is Tejo, an Initiator who has quickly made his mark within the game’s meta, largely due to his powerful Guided Salvo ability and the formidable Armageddon ultimate.

Despite Tejo’s introduction occurring in patch 10.00, Riot typically spaces out agent releases. Nevertheless, they have already started to tease Agent 28, with the full unveiling imminent.

Teaser for Agent 28 in Dawn of the Duelist

This new character was hinted at during the Dawn of the Duelist cinematic for Masters Bangkok, where Tejo can be seen sending a message to the crew.

“This team has potential, but they aren’t you. Stand by,” reads his message as he, alongside Phoenix, Brim, Vyse, and Raze, appears to be en route to Thailand.

In addition to glimpses of the new agent’s hand receiving Tejo’s message, silhouettes of Agent 28 float throughout the cinematic.

Fans have also noticed a reflection in Raze’s eyes that some speculate may hint at the new agent’s abilities, particularly since there’s another shot featuring a crystal tunnel that shares colors with that reflection.

Agent 28 Full Reveal Date

Regarding the potential abilities of Agent 28, there has been no official information or leaks thus far. Speculation suggests that this agent may be a Duelist, given their appearance in the Dawn of the Duelist video, but this remains unconfirmed.
