EXPLORING LEGEND TOKENS IN APEX LEGENDS
Legend Tokens stand out in Apex Legends as the only currency that players can earn entirely for free. Unlike other currencies, they cannot be obtained through loot boxes, purchased with real money, or even exchanged with Buff points like Apex Coins. This exclusivity makes them a precious resource, available solely through gameplay.

UTILIZING LEGEND TOKENS
These tokens are essential for unlocking additional Legends, providing access to diverse abilities and gameplay styles. To unlock a new Legend, you’ll need 12,000 Legend Tokens, which equates to leveling up 20 times (600 Legend Tokens per level).
Legend Tokens can also be used to acquire unique recolors for legendary skins you own. Note that these recolors rotate out of the shop weekly, so keep an eye out for new colors for your legendary skins.
Although you can use Legend Tokens to reroll daily challenges, it’s generally not advisable due to the cost compared to the reward.

Earning Legend Tokens is straightforward—just play the game and level up by gaining XP.
Leveling Up
Apex Legends offers a plethora of levels for players to progress through. Recent updates from Respawn Entertainment have increased the maximum level cap, providing more opportunities to earn Legend Tokens. Even after reaching the maximum level, you’ll continue to receive 600 Legend Tokens for every level’s worth of XP you gain.
For newcomers, the first 60 levels are relatively easier to achieve, allowing you to unlock several new Legends early in your journey. The XP required for leveling up increases incrementally, with a cap at higher levels.
Earning XP
Experience points in a match are awarded based on various actions, including:
- Winning a match: 900XP
- Top 5 finish: 300XP
- Time survived: 3XP per second
- First kill of the day: 500XP
- Kills: 50XP per kill
- Damage done: 0.25XP per 1 damage point
- Becoming the kill leader: 50XP
- Killing the champion: 500XP per kill
- Starting as the champion: 500XP
Playing With Friends
Grouping up with friends in Apex Legends not only enhances teamwork but also grants extra XP bonuses. Having one friend in your squad adds a +5% XP bonus to your survival time, while two friends provide a +10% XP bonus.
Advancing Through Seasonal Battle Passes
The Seasonal Battle Pass not only offers exclusive items but also stackable XP boosts. These boosts increase the XP earned for top 5 finishes and wins, potentially stacking up to a 300% boost for the season when combined with your party members’ boosts.
