Running from November 19 to November 29, this limited-time event is all about linking up with your squad and racking up XP across different game modes.

How To Get The Free Stuff
The setup is straightforward: log in, squad up with friends, and start earning XP in whatever mode you’re feeling. Battle Royale, Rocket Racing, Festival, Creative maps, it all counts. The catch? You gotta be in a party. Solo queue won’t do anything for your progress here.
Each day drops two new quests that require 80,000 XP (exactly one account level) in specific Fortnite experiences. Complete nine quests total and you unlock the Cuddle Team Rider skin. The quests alternate between Epic-developed modes and Creator-made islands, so there’s variety in the grind.
Chapter 7 Hype Building
Epic announced this while everyone’s hyped about Chapter 7 dropping soon, which should bring a completely new map and fresh mechanics to the island. Right now though, we’re still living in The Simpsons crossover season, and honestly it’s been massive. The cell-shaded Springfield map is wild, and Epic’s saying they’ve seen their biggest player surge since last year’s holiday season. That’s actually crazy numbers when you think about the competition in sweaty lobbies right now.

The Rewards Lineup
The Winter Rush event rewards are actually pretty clean. Here’s what you can unlock:
- 1 Quest: ACELERADA Jam Track by MXZI (that viral TikTok song)
- 3 Quests: Tropical Holiday animated wrap
- 5 Quests: Stick Starter emote
- 7 Quests: Cuddlebear Plushie back bling
- 9 Quests: Cuddle Team Rider outfit (main prize)
- 11 Quests: Cuddle Bats pickaxe (pink baseball bats with the Cuddle Bear symbol)
The Cuddle Team Rider skin puts a fresh spin on the classic Cuddle Team Leader design, complete with matching back bling and that fire pink pickaxe. If you’re into that aesthetic, this is basically a full cosmetic set for free.
Grinding Efficiently
The Winter Rush event itself is pretty chill compared to some of the ranked grinds. You’re just earning XP with friends across these modes:
- Festival or Rocket Racing
- Tycoon islands
- Survival maps
- Role-playing experiences
- Combat islands
- Battle Royale modes
- Save the World
If you’re already using BUFF to stack Buff Points while you play, this event is perfect for double-dipping on rewards. Grinding XP and unlocking cosmetics while earning points you can cash in later? That’s just efficient.

Time Management Tips
With Winter Rush running for just 10 days, you don’t have much time to sleep on this. The good news is quests stack, so you could wait until all time-gated quests unlock (should be complete by November 25) and grind through them all at once if that’s your style.
Epic’s dropping two quests daily, one for Epic experiences and one for Creative experiences. Plan your sessions accordingly if you want everything before the November 29 deadline.
What’s Next
Looking ahead, there’s some spicy leaks floating around about Chapter 7 potentially adding self-revive mechanics and drivable reboot vans. Take that with a grain of salt until Epic makes it official, but if it’s real, that could shake up how endgame circles play out in ranked.
Between The Simpsons content still being active, Winter Rush dropping free gear, and Chapter 7 on the horizon, Fortnite’s really loading up the content pipeline right now. Whether you’re a casual player just vibing in Creative or someone grinding ranked placements in those sweaty lobbies, there’s something worth checking out.
Party up, grind some XP, and grab these cosmetics before they’re gone. The event ends November 29, so don’t sleep on it.
